Apology To African Americans

Its hard to see the tears of a black man

Even harder for a ghost like me to understand

What one culture was forced to go through

Because mine neglected peace to pursue

The problems they had and the times they face

Because mine was unable too look past their race

The mindless cruelty and the treatment unfair

Because mine refused to remotely care

The beating, burning, shooting, and lynching

Because mine was focused on penny-pinching

The many verbally abusive debates

Because of my ancestors hate

Youve gone through too much in modern chronology

And I, for one, offer my utmost apology

Why?  Why not...
